Mr. Jacques Rousseau (Counsel): Regarding the Health of Animals Regulations, the committee has suggested that the wording of section 160 (1.1) of the regulations in question be amended to reflect the fact that when the minister is of the opinion that one of the activities in respect of which a request for a permit has been made pursuant to the regulations would not, to his knowledge, cause the problems identified in section 160 (1.1), then the minister would be required to issue the permit in question.
