In the event of a merger, division, spin off, or any other reorganisation that might affect the fulfilment of its statistical obligations, the reporting agent concerned shall inform the ECB and the relevant NCB, once the intention to implement such an operation has become public and within a reasonable time before it takes effect, of the procedures that are planned to fulfil the statistical reporting requirements set out in this Regulation.

The acquiring institution has the obligation to inform the relevant NCB, once the intention to merge has become public and in good time before the merger takes effect, of the procedures that it intends to implement to fulfil its statistical reporting obligations relating to the determination of reserve requirements.
L'établissement absorbant est tenu d'informer la BCN concernée, une fois le projet de fusion rendu public et bien avant que l'opération ne devienne effective, des procédures qu'il entend mettre en oeuvre pour remplir ses obligations de déclaration statistique en ce qui concerne la détermination des réserves obligatoires à constituer.
