– (PT) The charging of heavy goods vehicles for the use of certain infrastructures, under the terms of the European Parliament document voted on in plenary today, represents an increase in costs related to the movement of this type of transport.
– (PT) La taxation des poids lourds pour l’utilisation de certaines infrastructures, conformément au document du Parlement européen voté en plénière aujourd’hui, représente une hausse des coûts liés à la circulation de ce type de transport.

This very high cost can be explained by a number of factors such as the historically low efficiency of the Italian postal operator, the reduced number of postal items per capita sent in Italy relative to the size of the network, and especially the very heavy burden imposed by the preferential tariff for the press and non-profit publications (which on its own represents between 1/3 and half of the total amount of net extra costs).
