TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE
So these various points can illustrate how a situation where certain privileges are granted, in Montreal and in Quebec City in school boards because of denominational structures, how people who belong to a religion other than the Catholic or the Protestant religion are being assigned in a manner that makes them feel discriminated against in their choice to go to a denominational school.

The monthly living allowance that students receive — and I am not talking about the Cree school board because this is a different agreement with the province — is not enough to meet their basic needs.

Because of the constraints on premises, the Board of Governors has decided no longer to sign Category II contracts for the Brussels Schools.

Or, as I read just today, a news release from my own province from Quesnel, B.C., Dr. Chris Kempling, a school psychologist, has been suspended for three months by the local school board because he wrote a letter criticizing the government's same sex legislation.

According to the complainant the Commission is partly responsible for the situation, because it has a seat on the Board of Governors of the European Schools and is involved in issues concerning the Schools' budget.

We are working with the Board of Governors and with the Dutch Government, which is presiding over the Board, about the reform of the European schools, because there are a lot of problems, including structural problems, and, obviously, this system must be modified.

What alternatives has the Commission considered to the enforced transfer of sections, and how would they be put into practice, or is it relying on the experience the Secretary-General and Board of Governors have had with such removals, which, because of the way in which they were carried out when the Ixelles school was opened, brought about an intolerable state of affairs?

I have always been in favour of linguistic school boards, because they meet people's needs.

That right to dissent de facto has been to Protestants, because de facto, even though the schools boards in the other regions are not protected, and therefore are really common school boards because the overwhelming majority, if not 100%, in most regions of the population has been French Canadian Roman Catholic, this means that the school board itself has basically been in the hands of Roman Catholics.
