Les captures de cabillaud effectuées en mer Baltique (subdivisions 25 à 32, eaux communautaires) par les navires battant pavillon de la Pologne sont réputées avoir épuisé, à la date d’entrée en vigueur du présent règlement, la part du quota applicable à ce pays pour 2007.

In the absence of appropriate action taken by Poland, it is necessary that the Commission fixes, at its own initiative, the moment on which the catches by vessels flying the flag of Poland of cod in the Baltic Sea (Subdivisions 25-32, EC-waters) are deemed to have exhausted the quota for Poland, and to immediately prohibit fishing for that stock as from that date.
La Pologne n’ayant pas pris de mesures appropriées, il y a lieu que la Commission fixe, de sa propre initiative, la date à laquelle les captures de cabillaud effectuées en mer Baltique (subdivisions 25 à 32, eaux communautaires) par les navires battant pavillon de ce pays sont réputées avoir épuisé le quota qui lui est applicable et interdise immédiatement la pêche de poissons de ce stock à compter de cette date.

Fishing for cod in the Baltic Sea (Subdivisions 25-32, EC-waters) by vessels flying the flag of Poland shall be prohibited as from the date of entry into force of this Regulation to 31 December 2007.
La pêche du cabillaud en mer Baltique (subdivisions 25 à 32, eaux communautaires) par les navires battant pavillon de la Pologne est interdite à compter de la date d’entrée en vigueur du présent règlement, et ce jusqu’au 31 décembre 2007.

(3a) The Baltic Sea's division into a Western (ICES Subdivisions 22, 23 and 24) and an Eastern (ICES Subdivisions 25 to 32) part is determined by the fact that they are separate ecosystems with totally different properties.
