Work that went on in the framework of partnership meetings on a number of improvements was aimed in particular at the following: - the definition of specific conversion strategies adapted to the eligible areas; - the quantification of objectives by priority; - the concentration of Community financing on the measures most relevant to job creation and the recovery of economic activity; - improved use of the opportunities provided by the European Social fund, not only from the point of view of quantity, but also from that of the quality of the measures; - more efficient integration of Structural Fund operations by concentrating on improving the quality of the measures part-financed and by ensuring balanced distribution of resources between the various priorities in each region.
Le travail dans le cadre des réunions de partenariat a porté sur un certain nombre d'améliorations visant notamment: - la définition des stratégies spécifiques de reconversion adaptés aux zones éligibles; - la quantification d'objectifs par axes prioritaires; - la concentration des financements communautaires sur les actions les plus proches de la création d'emplois et de la relance de l'activité économique; - une meilleure utilisation des possibilités offertes par le Fonds Social européen, non seulement d'un point de vue quantitatif mais aussi du point de vue de la qualité des actions menées; - une intégration plus efficace de l'intervention des Fonds structurels, par une concentration sur l'amélioration de la qualité des mesures co- financées ainsi qu'en assurant une répartition équilibrée des ressources entre les différents objectifs prioritaires dans chaque région.
