To this end, the Council invites the Member States and the Commission to adopt measures to increase transparency and recognition of competences and qualifications within vocational education and training systems and to promote closer cooperation regarding quality in European vocational education and training systems as a sound basis for mutual trust.
Pour ce faire, le Conseil invite les États membres et la Commission à adopter des mesures pour améliorer la transparence et la reconnaissance des compétences et des qualifications dans le cadre des systèmes d'enseignement et de formation professionnels et promouvoir le renforcement de la coopération en matière de qualité des systèmes européens d'enseignement et de formation professionnels, afin d'asseoir la confiance mutuelle sur une base solide.

Closer geographical proximity means the enlarged EU and the new neighbourhood will have an equal stake in furthering efforts to promote trans-national flows of trade and investment as well as even more important shared interests in working together to tackle trans-boundary threats - from terrorism to air-borne pollution.
Une proximité géographique accrue signifie que l'Union élargie et ses nouveaux voisins auront un égal intérêt à appuyer les efforts déployés pour favoriser les flux transnationaux de commerce et d'investissement et un intérêt commun plus important encore à oeuvrer de concert pour lutter contre les menaces transfrontalières - du terrorisme à la pollution atmosphérique.

The situation is even more difficult in the field of vocational training where, even though the Commission has taken various initiatives to promote transparency and transnational recognition of vocational qualifications, recognition of training and placement periods accomplished in another Member State is still problematic.
La situation est encore plus difficile pour ce qui concerne la formation professionnelle où, même si la Commission a pris plusieurs initiatives en faveur de la transparence et de la reconnaissance professionnelle transnationale des qualifications, la validation des périodes de stages et de formation accomplies dans un autre État membre reste problématique.
