The Commission considers that these two legal entities form a single economic unit and initiated the formal investigation procedure in respect of new aid of some € 7.83 million (DEM 15.32 million) in parallel to a judicial procedure against Germany for not executing a negative decision on aid to the now bankrupt Erba Lautex GmbH.
