It is our hope that this committee will endorse the recommendation for a new and comprehensive Africa-wide Zimbabwe strategy, championed by a special representative, and that it will also call for a refugee protection program that ensures Canada is doing more to address the massive Zimbabwean displacement crisis that has been one of the many sad and untold outcomes of the country's humanitarian catastrophe.
Nous espérons que le comité souscrira à la recommandation en faveur d'une nouvelle stratégie globale panafricaine pour le Zimbabwe parrainée par un représentant spécial et qu'il réclamera la mise en oeuvre d'un programme de protection des réfugiés pour veiller à ce que le Canada redouble d'efforts pour faire face à la crise du déplacement massif de Zimbabwéens, l'une des tristes et innombrables conséquences de la catastrophe humanitaire qui frappe le pays.
