The President of the European Parliament has decided to open the procedure for filling the post of director (AD, grade 14) in the Directorate-General for Logistics and Interpretation for Conferences — Directorate for the Organisation of Conferences, in accordance with Article 29(2) of the Staff Regulations of Officials of the European Union (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Staff Regulations’).
De voorzitter van het Europees Parlement heeft besloten de procedure ter voorziening in de vacature voor een directeur (AD, rang 14) bij het directoraat-generaal Logistiek en Vertolking voor Conferenties, directoraat Conferentieorganisatie, te openen op basis van artikel 29, lid 2, van het Statuut van de ambtenaren van de Europese Unie (hierna „het Statuut” genoemd).

DIRECTORAAT-GENERAAL LOGISTIEK EN VERTOLKING VOOR CONFERENTIES

under Article 270 TFEU, applicable to the EAEC Treaty pursuant to Article 106a thereof, in which BN seeks, first, annulment of the decision of the European Parliament of 20 March 2012 terminating his duties as advisor to the Director of the Resources Directorate of the Directorate-General (DG) for Personnel, and reassigning him, from 15 March 2012, to a post as advisor in the ‘Eco-Management and Audit Scheme’ Service of the General Coordination Unit of the Resources Directorate of the DG for Infrastructure and Logistics (‘the EMAS Service’), and of the decision of 21 September 2012 rejecting his complaint against the decision of 20 March 2012, and, secondly, compensation for the harm suffered as a result of harassment and maladministration by his superiors, assessed on an equitable basis at EUR 400 000.
Betreft: Beroep, ingesteld krachtens artikel 270 VWEU, van toepassing op het EGA-Verdrag op grond van artikel 106 bis ervan, waarmee BN verzoekt, ten eerste, om nietigverklaring van het besluit van het Europees Parlement van 20 maart 2012, waarbij haar functie van adviseur van de directeur van het directoraat Middelen van het directoraat-generaal (DG) Personeel is beëindigd en waarbij zij met ingang van 15 maart 2012 is herplaatst naar een post van adviseur bij de dienst Milieubeheer- en Milieuauditsysteem van de eenheid Algemene Coördinatie van het directoraat Middelen van het Bureau voor infrastructuur en logistiek (hierna: „dienst EMAS”), alsmede van het besluit van 21 september 2012 tot afwijzing van de tegen het besluit van 20 maart 2012 ingediende klacht en, ten tweede, om vergoeding van de schade, geleden door de handelingen van psychisch geweld en onbehoorlijk bestuur van de kant van haar hiërarchieke meerdere, welke schade ex aequo et bono wordt geraamd op het bedrag van 400 000 EUR.

Notes that in households and in the building, transport, logistics and industrial sectors ICTs may be used in a variety of ways to improve energy efficiency and energy management; notes that these applications have an impact on, inter alia, electricity distribution, lighting, heating, refrigeration, ventilation and air conditioning and the opportunities ICTs offer in terms of measurement, monitoring and automation; maintains that smart meters, efficient lighting, cloud computing and distributed software can transform usage patterns of energy sources;
