For services referred to in Article 21(2)(a), the Commission may, until 31 December 2007, continue operating the Euro Info Centre Network and concluding annual specific grant agreements with its members, funded under this Framework Programme, and maintain the operational arrangements of the multiannual programme for enterprise and entrepreneurship established by Decision 2000/819/EC.

In respect of services mentioned under Article 20 (2) (a), the Commission may continue until the 31 December 2007 the operation of the Euro Info Centre network and the conclusion of annual specific grant agreements with its members, funded under the present framework programme, and maintaining the operational modalities of the previous Multi-annual Programme for Entrepreneurship and Enterprises (2000-2005)(MAP).
Wat de diensten in artikel 20, lid 2, a) betreft, kan de Commissie tot 31 december 2007 voortgaan met de exploitatie van het euroloketnetwerk en de sluiting van jaarlijkse specifieke subsidieakkoorden met de leden hiervan die in het kader van het lopende kaderprogramma worden gefinancierd, met behoud van de operationele kenmerken van het vorige meerjarenprogramma voor ondernemingen en ondernemerschap (2000-2005) (Multiannual Programme for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, MAP).

13. Calls on the Commission to include in its follow-up programmes to "Info 2000" and "Multilingualism in the Information Society" and in its "e-content" programme measures to foster creative European content in e-publishing in all languages;

A. Whereas in June 2000 the European Council of Feira adopted the Action Plan "eEurope 2002" aiming to open the Information Society to all European citizens and recognised that "special attention should be given to disabled people and the fight against info-exclusion";
A. overwegende dat de Europese Raad van Feira in juni 2000 zijn goedkeuring heeft gehecht aan het actieplan "e-Europa 2002", voor het toegankelijk maken van de informatiemaatschappij voor alle Europese burgers, en heeft erkend dat speciale aandacht moet worden besteed aan mensen met een handicap en aan de bestrijding van uitsluiting van informatie,

With this in mind, calls on the Commission not to delay the completion of a network for multi-media access to the European cultural heritage provided for in the STI policy of the fifth framework research programme by, if possible, combining this project and the achievements of the telematics application programmes launched by the fourth framework programme with the projects on new multi-media information content supported by Info 2000;
6. verzoekt de Commissie in het licht hiervan onverwijld en in het kader van het WTI-beleid van het vijfde kaderprogramma voor onderzoek, een netwerk op te zetten voor een multimediatoegang tot het Europese culturele erfgoed, en dit project zo mogelijk te combineren met de verworvenheden van de programma's voor telematische toepassingen die binnen het vierde kaderprogramma zijn gelanceerd en de projecten voor nieuwe multimedia-informatie die in het kader van Info 2000 worden gesteund;

(18) Whereas any content policy actions should be complementary to ongoing national and Community initiatives, as outlined notably in the Commission's action plan 'Europe's way to the information society: an action plan`, and should be performed in synergy with other Community activities in the field such as the INFO 2000 programme (8), with Community research programmes (programmes concerned with advanced technology, advanced communications services and telematics) and with Community education, training, cultural and SME actions and initiatives, and with the Structural Funds;
(18) Overwegende dat acties inzake inhoud moeten aansluiten bij lopende nationale en communautaire initiatieven, zoals met name in het actieplan van de Commissie "Europa op weg naar de informatiemaatschappij: een actieplan" wordt beschreven, en uitgevoerd moeten worden in synergie met andere communautaire werkzaamheden op dat gebied zoals het programma INFO 2000 (8), met communautaire onderzoekprogramma's (programma's betreffende geavanceerde technologie, geavanceerde communicatiediensten en telematica), met communautaire acties en initiatieven op het gebied van onderwijs, opleiding, cultuur en het MKB, en met de structuurfondsen;
