It discusses the difficulties which private individuals may encounter in the event of a transfrontier dispute (see inset). This analysis is followed by a number of proposals for initiatives and ideas for discussion: - making the Single Market work means that the principle of free movement must also apply to actions brought with a view to ensuring the discontinuation of unlawful transfrontier practices (such as misleading advertising, the use of unfair terms, etc.).
Deze analyse leidt tot het in beschouwing nemen van een aantal initiatieven en punten van overweging: - voor de goede werking van de interne markt moet het beginsel van vrij verkeer ook toegepast worden op acties die een einde proberen te maken aan ongeoorloofde grenspraktijken (zoals de verspreiding van misleidende reclame, oneerlijke bedingen, enz...).
