TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

The concept of ‘dealers engaging in intra-Community trade’ within the meaning of Article 12 of Council Directive 90/425/EEC of 26 June 1990 concerning veterinary and zoo technical checks applicable in intra-Community trade in certain live animals and products with a view to the completion of the internal market, as amended by Council Directive 92/60/EEC of 30 June 1992, must be interpreted as meaning that it covers inter alia, a charitable association which transports stray dogs from one Member State to another in order to give those dogs to persons who have agreed to adopt them after they have paid a sum covering in principle the costs incurred for that purpose by that association.
Het begrip „handelaars die werkzaam zijn in het intracommunautaire verkeer” in de zin van artikel 12 van richtlijn 90/425/EEG van de Raad van 26 juni 1990 inzake veterinaire en zoötechnische controles in het intracommunautaire handelsverkeer in bepaalde levende dieren en producten in het vooruitzicht van de totstandbrenging van de interne markt, zoals gewijzigd bij richtlijn 92/60/EEG van de Raad van 30 juni 1992, moet aldus worden uitgelegd dat het met name een vereniging van openbaar nut betreft, die zwerfhonden van een lidstaat naar een andere vervoert met het doel deze honden te herplaatsen bij personen die zich ertoe hebben verbonden ze te houden en een bedrag te betalen dat de door deze vereniging gemaakte kosten in beginsel dekt.

In de loop van 2012 werden bepaalde specifieke actoren geïnterviewd. De diensten van de Commissie hebben overleg gepleegd met vertegenwoordigers van de Gemeenschap van Europese spoorwegen (CER), de European Passenger Transport Operators (EPTO), de European Transport Workers' Federation (ETF), de Europese Reizigersfederatie (EPF), de European Rail Infrastructure Managers (EIM) en de UITP (de Internationale Vereniging voor Openbaar Vervoer).

By letters dated 26, 27 and 28 July 2011, five road haulage companies and representative associations (LKW Walter Internationale Transportorganisation AG, Youngs Transportation Logistics Ltd, Laser Transport International Limited, Carna Transport Ltd and Road Haulage association international group) communicated their comments to the Commission.

1. Calls on the Commission and Member States to secure completion of the internal market for transport, and fair competition in the transport domain, while respecting other European Union policy objectives, such as properly functioning transport and mobility services, policy objectives in the areas of public services, safety and environmental protection, and the EU 2020 targets on CO2 emissions reduction and oil dependency;
1. verzoekt de Commissie en de lidstaten te zorgen voor de voltooiing van de interne markt voor transport en eerlijker mededinging in de sector vervoer en tegelijkertijd rekening te houden met andere beleidsdoelen van de Europese Unie, zoals behoorlijk werkende openbaar-vervoers- en mobiliteitsdiensten, beleidsdoelen in de sectoren openbare diensten, veiligheid en milieubescherming, en de EU-doelen voor 2020 inzake vermindering van de uitstoot van CO2 en afhankelijkheid van aardolie;

Considers it essential to intensify the exchange of experience and good practice with other European institutions, such as the European Commission on Preservation and Access, institutions in third countries, such as the library of the US Congress, international associations, such as the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions, public or private organisations, such as the Online Computer Library Center, and others, endeavouring wherever possible to use software and solutions already tested and in operation;
33. acht het beslist noodzakelijk ervaringen en beste praktijken uit te wisselen met andere Europese instellingen, zoals de ECPA (European Commission on Preservation and Access), instellingen uit derde landen zoals de bibliotheek van het Congres van de VS, internationale verenigingen zoals de Internationale Federatie van bibliotheekverenigingen en –instellingen (IFLA), overheids- of particuliere instellingen zoals het Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) en anderen, daarbij strevend zoveel mogelijk gebruik te maken van beproefde operationele software en oplossingen;

33. - Commission to advocate that appropriate international organizations and associations and transportation companies develop and prepare to implement standard measures for travellers on board international conveyances, consistent with the pandemic phase;
