– (NL) Mr President, I should like to address the Commission’s recent initiative for a Black Sea Plan which plays an extremely important role in relations with Russia; at the heart of which are hard and soft security risks, in that the Commission’s initiative for a Black Sea Synergy deals with the frozen conflicts in Transnistria, South-Ossetia, Abkhazia and Nagorno Karabakh, as well as such topics as arms and drugs smuggling, human trafficking and migration, all of which are important.
- Voorzitter, ik wil graag ingaan op het recente initiatief van de Commissie voor een Zwarte-Zeeplan dat voor de relaties met Rusland een buitengewoon belangrijke rol speelt. Harde en zachte veiligheidsrisico's liggen ten grondslag aan het initiatief van de Commissie voor een Zwarte-Zeesynergie. Het gaat respectievelijk om de bevroren conflicten Transnistrië, Zuid-Ossetië, Abchazië en Nagorny-Karabach alsmede om wapen- en drugssmokkel, mensenhandel en migratie. Allemaal belangrijke onderwerpen.
