Such ERUs transferred to the Union Registry after 1st May 2013 are expected to be issued pursuant to the verification procedure under the Joint Implementation Supervisory Committee set out in Decision 9/CMP.1 of the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (Decision 9/CMP.1) (pursuant to the so-called ‘track 2 procedure’).
