The competent authority shall, either by means of instructions in the permit conditions or by means of generally binding rules, ensure continuous measurement at the incineration plant of the temperature in the immediate vicinity of the furnace's inner wall or at another representative point in the furnace in accordance with what the competent authority permits, and of the acidity, pressure, temperature and water vapour content of the flue gases.
