Furthermore, the EIB's Project Bonds Initiative and other similar activities, such as the Connecting Europe Facility, should be directly linked to the ELTIF, with the EIB assuming risk and providing guarantees, to reduce risks inherent to this type of investments and encourage investors to trust the ELTIF as a safe investment vehicle.
Bovendien moeten het initiatief inzake projectobligaties van de EIB en overige, soortgelijke activiteiten, zoals de Connecting Europe Facility, direct zijn gekoppeld aan het ELTIF, waarbij de EIB de risico's draagt en garanties geeft ter vermindering van de risico's die inherent zijn aan dit soort investeringen en ter aanmoediging van beleggers om het ELTIF als relatief zeker beleggingsinstrument te vertrouwen.
