Voorts waren de delegaties van mening dat in het kader van de hervorming van het GLB rekening moet worden gehouden met de positieve gevolgen van de teelt van groenten en eiwithoudende gewassen; de met groenten en eiwithoudende gewassen beplante gebieden zouden daartoe in aanmerking moeten komen voor vergroeningsbetalingen in het kader van de ecologische aandachts­gebieden.
