Main points of a speech made by Mr Padraig Flynn, Commissioner responsible for Employment and Social Affairs, to the Conference on Social Security in Europe : Equality between Nationals and Non-Nationals, Oporto, Portugal, 10 November 1994Speaking in Oporto today at the Conference on Social Security in Europe: Equality between Nationals and Non-Nationals, Commissioner Padraig Flynn made a clear promise to the citizens of Europe that "as a matter of priority, the Commission will work towards dismantling the remaining barriers to the free movement of people in Europe, be they legal, administrative or practical barriers".
