Renewing the message addressed to the institutions in its White Paper on multi-level governance , the Committee of the Regions will plead for "better coordination and cooperation between the different levels of government in Europe, and for a much stronger regional dimension to the new strategy" (Click here for an interview with Christine Chapman.)
Evenals in zijn Witboek over multilevel governance wijst het CvdR op het volgende: "de diverse bestuurslagen in Europa zou beter moeten gaan samenwerken en hun maatregelen beter moeten coördineren. Ook zou de regionale dimensie in de nieuwe strategie kracht moeten worden bijgezet".
