1. When an operating air carrier reasonably expects a flight to be delayed, or an operating carrier postpones the scheduled time of departure, beyond its originally scheduled time of departure, passengers shall be offered by the operating air carrier:

2. Where the identity of the operating air carrier or carriers is not yet known at the time of reservation, the air carriage contractor shall ensure that the passenger is informed of the name or names of the air carrier or carriers that is or are likely to act as operating air carrier or carriers on the flight or flights concerned.
2. 4. The air carrier or the tour operator, as the case may be, shall ensure that the relevant air carriage contractor is informed of the identity of the operating air carrier or carriers as soon as this is known, in particular in the event of a change of such identity.

The air carrier and the tour operator must inform the air carriage contractor about the name of the operating air carrier, especially in case of a change of operating air carrier.

1a. Where the precise identity of the operating air carrier(s) is not known when the reservation is made, the air carriage contractor shall ensure that the passenger is given the name(s) of the air carrier(s) that will probably act as operating air carrier(s) for the relevant flight(s).
1 bis. Indien de exacte identiteit van de exploiterende luchtvaartmaatschappij(en) op het moment van de boeking nog niet bekend is, zorgt de contractant van het luchtvervoer ervoor dat de passagier in kennis wordt gesteld van de naam van de maatschappijen die waarschijnlijk als exploiterende luchtvaartmaatschappij voor de betrokken vlucht(en) zal optreden.
