TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

1. The national members of the Provisional Judicial Cooperation Unit appointed by the Member States under the Council Decision 2000/799/JHA of 14 December 2000 setting up a Provisional Judicial Cooperation Unit(14) shall take on the role of national member of Eurojust under Article 2 of this Decision until the national member of the Member State concerned is definitively appointed but not after the end of the second month after the entry into force of this Decision, on which date their functions shall cease.

De nationale leden van het voorlopig justitieel samenwerkingsteam(14), aangewezen krachtens Besluit 2000/799/JBZ van de Raad van 14 december 2000, vervullen krachtens artikel 2 van onderhavig besluit de functie van nationaal lid van Eurojust tot de definitieve aanwijzing van het nationale lid van de betrokken lidstaat en uiterlijk tot het verstrijken van de tweede maand na de datum waarop het besluit van kracht wordt; op die datum leggen zij hun functie neer.

4. The Member States shall ensure that until the definitive establishment of Eurojust all measures necessary are taken to guarantee that all cases dealt with by the Provisional Judicial Cooperation Unit, in particular in connection with the coordination of investigations and prosecutions, can continue to be dealt with effectively by national members.

On that date the Provisional Judicial Cooperation Unit shall cease to exist.

National members shall pursue at least the same objectives and perform the same functions as the Provisional Judicial Cooperation Unit.

2. The competent authorities of the Member States shall, where appropriate, in investigations into counterfeiting and offences related to the counterfeiting of the euro make use of the facilities offered by the Provisional Judicial Cooperation Unit and, subsequently, the facilities for cooperation offered by Eurojust once it has been established, in accordance with the provisions laid down in the instruments establishing the Provisional Judicial Cooperation Unit and Eurojust.
2. Bij onderzoeken naar valsemunterij en strafbare feiten in verband met eurovalsemunterij maken de bevoegde autoriteiten van de lidstaten in voorkomend geval gebruik van de faciliteiten van het voorlopig justitieel samenwerkingsteam en vervolgens van de samenwerkingsfaciliteiten van Eurojust, wanneer dat is ingesteld, overeenkomstig de bepalingen van de instrumenten tot instelling van het voorlopig justitieel samenwerkingsteam en Eurojust.
