Croatia will have to ensure adequate means of supervision in this area and appoint a contact point to co-operate with authorities in other EU Member States. It should also take steps to prohibit the production, manufacturing, sale and distribution of pirate smart cards and other devices circumventing the encryption of conditional access services, as well as to ensure adequate sanctions.
Kroatië zal moeten zorgen voor passend toezicht op dit terrein en een contactpunt aanwijzen voor de samenwerking met de autoriteiten in andere lidstaten van de EU. Ook moet het land maatregelen nemen om de productie, fabricage, verkoop en distributie te verbieden van nagemaakte smartcards en andere apparatuur om de encryptie van diensten met voorwaardelijke toegang te omzeilen, en moeten passende sancties worden ingesteld.
