Par contre, les profils du GNRPO et du ROB divergent sur la forme et surtout sur le fond en matière de concepts : le GNRPO minimalise l’importance de la philosophie sous-jacente à l’ostéopathie tandis que le ROB conserve dans le champ disciplinaire les fonctions pariétale, crâniale et viscérale tout en défendant pourtant, comme le GNRPO, une ostéopathie basée sur l’Evidence-Based Medicine (médecine basée sur les preuves ou EBM).
Daarentegen wijken de profielen van de GNRPO en het ROB af van elkaar wat betreft de vorm en vooral de fundamenten op gebied van concepten: de GNRPO minimaliseert het belang van de onderliggende filosofie van de osteopathie terwijl het ROB binnen het disciplinaire veld de pariëtale, craniale en viscerale functies behoudt terwijl het toch, net zoals de GNRPO, een osteopathie verdedigt die gebaseerd is op Evidence-Based Medicine.
