Sous l'impulsion de Jean-Pierre Hamerlinck DO, past-président de la Société Belge d'Ostéopathie, le BRO a obtenu, après un changement en profondeur dans ses statuts, ce qu'il avait toujours voulu, càd un registre de tous les ostéopathes DO qui ont suivi un enseignement reconnu en Belgique ou à l'étranger et qui se profilent comme ostéopathes à part entière.
Onder impuls van Jean-Pierre Hamerlinck DO, oud-voorzitter van de Belgische Vereniging voor Osteopathie, heeft het BRO, na een grondige verandering van zijn statuten, verkregen wat het steeds gewenst heeft, namelijk een register van alle osteopaten DO die in België of in het buitenland een erkende opleiding hebben gevolgd en volwaardige osteopaten blijken te zijn.

Pour devenir membre du BRO, il fallait : être ostéopathe DO depuis au moins 2 ans, travailler à temps plein, être démarqué et de plus être recommandé par 2 ostéopathes DO.
Om lid te worden van het BRO moest men: ten minste 2 jaar osteopaat DO zijn, voltijds werken, gedemarqueerd zijn en bovendien voorgedragen worden door 2 osteopaten DO.
