L’objectif de cet exercice d’évaluation était d’estimer le niveau d’exposition au cadmium et au plomb des consommateurs de denrées alimentaires produites autour des sites d’implantation d’Umicore (produits animaux, fruits et légumes) et de le comparer à la dose hebdomadaire tolérable provisoire (Provisional Tolerated Weekly Intake, PTWI).
Het doel van deze evaluatieoefening was het niveau van de blootstelling aan cadmium en lood te ramen van consumenten van levensmiddelen, voortgebracht in de nabijheid van de bedrijfssites van Umicore (dierlijke producten, groenten en fruit) en dat te vergelijken met de tijdelijk tolereerbare dosis per week (Provisional Tolerated Weekly Intake – PTWI).
