17. begrüßt die Verpflichtung des UN-Beauftragten im Irak, die Information der Kommission in Echtzeit zu verbessern, und ist der Auffassung, dass die 13 Monate dauernde intensive Nachforschung bezüglich der Verwendung von EU-Mitteln durch internationale Treuhandfonds zu einer stärkeren Sensibilisierung für die Notwendigkeit, für die Verwendung der Gelder der EU-Steuerzahler Rechenschaft abzulegen, geführt hat; fordert die Kommission auf, bei der Revision des Rahmenabkommens über die Zusammenarbeit im Finanz- und Verwaltungsbereich zwischen der Europäischen Gemeinschaft und den Vereinten Nationen (FAFA) eng mit ihm zusammenzuarbeiten;
