Voor het laatste derde gedeelte stel ik de volgende Engelse formulering voor: “in expecting action by Iran to address also other concerns of the EU regarding the fight against terrorism, the respect for human rights and Iran’s approach to the Middle East peace process” en ik verzoek u mijn voorstel aan te nemen.
– Herr Präsident! Ich schlage eine mündliche Änderung zu Ziffer 8 vor. Ich schlage für das letzte Drittel folgende Formulierung vor: „in expecting action by Iran to address also other concerns of the EU regarding the fight against terrorism, the respect for human rights and Iran’s approach to the Middle East peace process“ und bitte Sie, meinen Vorschlag anzunehmen.

the importance of the OECD Convention combating bribery of foreign public officials in international business transactions is acknowledged as is the importance of the Council of Europe's twenty guiding principles for the fight against corruption, speedy ratification and implementation of these instruments was encouraged;
6. die Bedeutung des OECD-Übereinkommens zur Bekämpfung der Bestechung ausländischer Beamter bei internationalen Geschäften wird anerkannt, ebenso wie die Bedeutung der zwanzig Leitlinien des Europarates für die Bekämpfung der Korruption; die umgehende Ratifizierung und Umsetzung dieser Rechtsakte wurde angeregt;

the EU Convention on the fight against corruption involving officials of the European Communities or officials of Member States of the European Union, and other relevant instruments agreed upon by the EU Council of Ministers, are considered as a major break through but their speedy ratification is considered to be vitally important;
5. das EU-Übereinkommen über die Bekämpfung der Bestechung, an der Beamte der Europäischen Gemeinschaften oder der Mitgliedstaaten der Europäischen Union beteiligt sind, und die anderen diesbezüglichen Rechtsakte, auf die sich der EU-Ministerrat geeinigt hat, gelten als großer Erfolg, ihre umgehende Ratifizierung wird jedoch als grundlegend betrachtet;
