Ook in het debat over mondiale collectieve voorzieningen (Global Public Goods, GPG's) is vooruitgang geboekt en er wordt nagedacht over geschikte aansporingsmaatregelen voor de totstandbrenging van specifieke GPG's, zoals beheersing van de HIV/aids-, malaria- en tuberculose-epidemieën.
Die Debatte über die globalen Kollektivgüter schritt ebenfalls voran, und es wird über geeignete Anreize für die Entwicklung spezifischer globaler Kollektivgüter wie die Kontrolle der Epidemien HIV/AIDS, Malaria und TB nachgedacht.

19. is verheugd over het Frans-Zweedse initiatief tot ondersteuning van een werkgroep inzake Global Public Goods, waarmee prioriteitsgebieden voor gezamenlijke maatregelen moeten worden geïdentificeerd, terwijl tevens wordt aangegeven hoe deze gemeenschappelijke belangen institutioneel moeten worden beheerd en hoe ze moeten worden gefinancierd; doet een beroep op de EU dit initiatief in Johannesburg aan de orde te stellen met een EU‑initiatiefvoorstel inzake Global Public Goods, zoals gezondheid, milieu, toegang tot kennis, financiële stabiliteit en veiligheid en vrede;
19. begrüßt die von Frankreich und Schweden eingeleitete Initiative, eine Task Force „Globale öffentliche Güter“ finanziell zu unterstützen, die prioritäre Bereiche für gemeinsame Aktionen ermitteln und feststellen soll, wie diese gemeinsamen Interessen institutionell verwaltet und finanziert werden sollen; fordert die EU auf, diese Initiative auch in Johannesburg zu vertreten und einen Vorschlag für globale öffentliche Güter wie Gesundheit, Umwelt, Zugang zu Know-how, finanzielle Stabilität sowie Sicherheit und Frieden vorzulegen;
