De lidstaten zorgen ervoor dat dosislimieten voor beroepsmatige blootstelling van toepassing zijn op de som van de jaarlijkse beroepsmatige blootstellingen van een werknemer uit alle handelingen waarvoor een vergunning is verleend, de beroepsmatige blootstelling aan radon op de werkplek waarvoor kennisgeving overeenkomstig artikel 54, lid 3, is vereist, en andere beroepsmatige blootstelling aan bestaande blootstellingssituaties overeenkomstig artikel 100, lid 3.

Member States shall ensure that dose limits for occupational exposure apply to the sum of annual occupational exposures of a worker from all authorised practices, occupational exposure to radon in workplaces requiring notification in accordance with Article 54(3), and other occupational exposure from existing exposure situations in accordance with Article 100(3).

However, Member States should ensure that these workplaces are notified and that, in cases where the exposure of workers is liable to exceed an effective dose of 6 mSv per year or a corresponding time-integrated radon exposure value, they are managed as a planned exposure situation and that dose limits apply, and determine which operational protection requirements need be applied.

2. De werkplekken als bepaald in artikel 54, lid 3, en waar de blootstelling van werknemers de effectieve dosislimiet van 6mSv per jaar of een door de lidstaat vastgestelde overeenkomstige over de tijd geïntegreerde waarde van de blootstelling aan radon kan overschrijden, worden beheerd als een geplande blootstellingssituatie en de lidstaten bepalen welke voorschriften van dit hoofdstuk van toepassing zijn.

For workplaces specified in Article 54(3), and where the exposure of workers is liable to exceed an effective dose of 6 mSv per year or a corresponding time-integrated radon exposure value determined by the Member State, these shall be managed as a planned exposure situation and the Member States shall determine which requirements set out in this Chapter are appropriate.
