TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Kroatië is op 1 juli 2013 toegtreden tot de EU. Bosnië en Herzegovina is echter nog niet akkoord gegaan met de aanpassing van de interimovereenkomst om rekening te houden met het preferentiële traditionele handelsverkeer tussen Kroatië en Bosnië en Herzegovina in het kader van de Midden-Europese Vrijhandelsovereenkomst (Cefta), die de twee landen vóór 1 juli 2013 met elkaar verbond.
Following the accession of Croatia to the EU on 1 July 2013, BiH has not yet accepted to adapt the Interim Agreement in order to take into account the preferential traditional trade between Croatia and BiH under the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) which linked the two countries before 1 July 2013.

Emphasises the importance of the increasing intra-regional trade between the countries of the Western Balkans; stresses the necessity of regional cooperation and good neighbourly relations for the economic growth in the area and the crucial role that the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) is playing in this process; welcomes the entry into force of the new CEFTA Agreement on 26 July 2007; considers that this initiative is essential for the creation of a genuine regional free trade area by the end of 2010;

8. benadrukt de stimulans die van regionale samenwerking en goede betrekkingen tussen de buurlanden kan uitgaan voor economische groei in de regio en de essentiële rol die de CEFTA in dit proces speelt; benadrukt dat de CEFTA ook een belangrijke rol kan spelen bij de verdere integratie van de regio in de Europese Unie door een versterking van de economische en handelsbetrekkingen tussen de Europese Unie en de westelijke Balkan; is derhalve van oordeel dat de CEFTA in belangrijke mate bijdraagt aan de voorbereiding van de landen van de westelijke Balkan op toetreding tot de Europese Unie;

Underlines the stimulus of regional cooperation and good neighbourly relations for the economic growth in the area and the essential role that the CEFTA plays in this process; stresses that CEFTA may also play an important role in the further integration of the region into the European Union by strengthening economic and trade relations between the European Union and the Western Balkans; considers, therefore, that CEFTA contributes significantly to the preparation of the Western Balkan countries" accession to the European Union;

De regionale handelsintegratie via de CEFTA is een aanvulling op de handelsintegratie tussen de landen van de regio en de EU via de stabilisatie- en associatieovereenkomsten en de autonome handelsmaatregelen.
Regional trade integration through CEFTA complements trade integration between the countries in the region and the EU under the Stabilisation and Association Agreements (SAA) and Autonomous Trade Measures (ATM).

The Association Council also expressed its appreciation for the commitment of the Slovak Republic to the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) and for its willingness to enlarge CEFTA to include other countries in the region.
