(10) Besluit van het Uitvoerend Comité SCH/Com-ex (98) 37, def. 2 stelt maatregelen vast voor een geïntegreerde aanpak ter intensivering van de strijd tegen illegale migratie, die in werking werden gesteld bij het besluit van de Centrale Groep van 27 oktober 1998 betreffende het actieplan ter bestrijding van de illegale immigratie (SCH/C (98) 117).
(10) Decision of the Executive Committee SCH/Com-ex (98) 37 def 2 established a set of measures aiming at establishing an integrated approach for stepping up the fight against illegal migration that were put into effect by the Decision of the Central Group of 27 October 1998 on the adoption of measures to fight illegal immigration (SCH/C (98) 117).

With respect to intra-group positions, an additional distinction is made for loan and deposit positions and transactions between deposit taking corporations except the central bank (S.122) to allow the identification of inter-linkages between credit institutions belonging to the same group (domestic and other euro area Member States).

the colleges will be composed of representatives of the national supervisory authorities dealing with prudential supervision. The regulation should contain clear principles for the national supervisors that have to be represented in the mandatory colleges, taking into account the group's market size in a Member State, the volume of cross-border operations, the volume and value of assets to reflect the importance of the group activities, ensuring that all Member States in which the parent undertaking, subsidiaries and significant branches are operating will be represented, and also taking into account the need to involve third-country supervisors where reasonable and practicable. Special attention should be given to the challenges with which supervisors in rapidly catching up economies are faced. To achieve operational integration, the consolidating supervisor must have full process-leadership within the college, i.e. the consolidating supervisor must be the central point of contact for the financial group, ensuring appropriate delegation of tasks and responsibilities within the college;

Calls on the Central Group, when drawing up the annual report, to provide more and better information on application of the CSA and the consequences of implementing the Schengen Agreement, with particular reference to the use of, and possible changes to, the various manuals, on the effectiveness and the problems of checks at external frontiers, on the implementation of the provisions on asylum policy, on application of mutual assistance in criminal justice and police work and on the use of contact and liaison officers;
