A. overwegende dat uit onderzoek van het Brits departement voor het beheer van nationale noodsituaties blijkt dat in het Verenigd Koninkrijk de verspreiding van infecties die veroorzaakt worden door bacteriën die resistent zijn tegen antibiotica (Antimicrobial Resistance Infection, AMR) een gevaarlijke bedreiging vormt voor minstens 80 000 personen en het verloop van de banaalste chirurgische operaties in het gevaar kan brengen;
A. whereas research by the UK Department responsible for managing national emergencies has highlighted the fact that at least 80 000 people are dangerously at risk from the spread of infections caused by bacteria resistant to antibiotics (Antimicrobial Resistance Infection, o AMR) and that AMR is jeopardising the outcome of even the most minor operations;
