Bij Verordening (EG) nr. 479/2008 is de eerdere regeling die voor de wijnsector was ingesteld bij Verordening (EG) nr. 1493/1999 van de Raad van 17 mei 1999 houdende een gemeenschappelijke ordening van de wijnmarkt gewijzigd en is Verordening (EEG) nr. 2392/86 van de Raad van 24 juli 1986 tot instelling van het communautaire wijnbouwkadaster met ingang van 1 augustus 2009 ingetrokken.
Regulation (EC) No 479/2008 amended the previous wine-sector arrangements, as laid down in Council Regulation (EC) No 1493/1999 of 17 May 1999 on the common organisation of the market in wine , and repealed Council Regulation (EEC) No 2392/86 of 24 July 1986 establishing the Community vineyard register with effect from 1 August 2009.

Welcomes the fact that the Bulgarian authorities have started to set up the necessary structures for the common organisation of the markets, but urges the country to intensify its efforts as regards the establishment of the milk quota system and the vineyard register; also stresses the importance of immediate preparation for the implementation of Community legislation concerning milk quotas so as not to create problems in terms of distortion of competition and the operation of the milk quota scheme in the other Member States; stresses the importance of bringing legislation on environmental policy and organic farming into line with the Community acquis.

(10) Bij Verordening (EEG) nr. 2392/86 van de Raad(3), laatstelijk gewijzigd bij Verordening (EG) nr. 1631/98(4), is voorzien in de opstelling van het communautair wijnbouwkadaster.

The amendment provides for greater flexibility of the system of surveys and allows Member States to link up this operation with the Community survey on the structure of agriculture holdings provided for by Council Regulation (EEC) No 571/88 and to use, as a source, information obtained from the vineyard register.

Overwegende dat in Verordening nr . 26/64/EEG van de Commissie van 28 februari 1964 houdende aanvullende bepalingen met betrekking tot de instelling , de exploitatie en de bijwerking van het wijnbouwkadaster ( 4 ) , laatstelijk gewijzigd bij Verordening ( EEG ) nr . 1456/76 ( 5 ) , wordt bepaald dat de in artikel 3 , lid 1 , van eerstgenoemde verordening vastgestelde volledige herziening van het communautaire wijnbouwkadaster om de tien jaar en voor de eerste maal in 1979 zal moeten plaatsvinden ;
Whereas Commission Regulation No 26/64/EEC of 28 February 1964 laying down additional provisions for the preparation of the viticultural land register, for its management and for keeping it up to date (4), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1456/76 (5), provides that the complete revision of the Community viticultural land register referred to in Article 3 (1) should take place every 10 years, beginning in 1979;
