IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

2. De Commissie stelt overeenkomstig de in artikel 9, lid 2, bedoelde procedure en rekening houdend met de nationale systemen van de lidstaten uiterlijk op 30 juni 2006 een communautair inventarisatiesysteem vast om de nauwkeurigheid, vergelijkbaarheid, consistentie, volledigheid en tijdige beschikbaarheid van de nationale inventarissen in relatie tot de communautaire broeikasgasinventaris te garanderen.
2. The Commission shall, in accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 9(2), and taking into account the national systems of the Member States, adopt by 30 June 2006 at the latest, a Community inventory system for ensuring the accuracy, comparability, consistency, completeness and timeliness of national inventories with regard to the Community greenhouse gas inventory.

Daarom is het passend te voorzien in doeltreffende samenwerking en coördinatie met betrekking tot de verplichting uit hoofde van deze beschikking, waaronder het opstellen van de communautaire broeikasgasinventaris, de evaluatie van de vorderingen, het opstellen van verslagen, evenals de toetsings- en nalevingsprocedures die de Gemeenschap in staat moeten stellen haar rapportageverplichtingen in het kader van het Protocol van Kyoto na te komen overeenkomstig de politieke akkoorden en juridisch verbindende besluiten die op de zevende Conferentie der Partijen bij het UNFCCC in Marrakech tot stand zijn gekomen (hierna "akkoorden van Marrakech" genoemd).
Therefore, it is appropriate to provide for effective cooperation and coordination in relation to obligations under this Decision, including the compilation of the Community greenhouse gas inventory, the evaluation of progress, the preparation of reports, as well as review and compliance procedures enabling the Community to comply with its reporting obligations under the Kyoto Protocol, as laid down in the political agreements and legal decisions taken at the seventh Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC in Marrakech (hereinafter the Marrakech Accords).
