Promotes the future use of the Article 222 TFEU solidarity clause instead of the Article 42(7) mutual assistance clause, as Article 222 TFEU is specifically designed to counter terrorist threats in Europe and addresses poor levels of cooperation and coordination between national law enforcement agencies in Europe; recalls that Article 222 TFEU cannot initiate further military contributions to ongoing UN and EU missions; calls on the EU Member States to increase contributions to UN and EU missions, especially in Mali and the Central African Republic in view of a possible reduced French contribution;

Ook deed de Commissie de lidstaten in maart 2014 de aanbeveling de loonkloof aan te pakken door de loontransparantie te verbeteren (IP/14/222).
The Commission also pushed for further progress in March 2014 recommending to Member States to improve pay transparency and thus tackle the pay gap (IP/14/222).

Er is concrete vooruitgang geboekt bij de aanpak van het beloningsverschil tussen mannen en vrouwen, dankzij initiatieven van de Commissie om de loontransparantie te bevorderen (IP/14/222). Ook het streven van de Commissie om te zorgen voor meer vrouwen in raden van bestuur werpt vrucht af (zie bijlage).
Efforts are paying off: concrete progress has been made in the area of addressing the gender pay gap – notably through an initiative by the Commission to improve pay transparency (IP/14/222) – or increasing the number of women on company boards (see Annex).

Kaderbesluit 2005/222/JBZ wordt hierbij vervangen voor de lidstaten die aan de aanneming van deze richtlijn deelnemen, onverminderd de verplichtingen van de lidstaten wat betreft de termijn voor de omzetting van het kaderbesluit in nationaal recht.
Framework Decision 2005/222/JHA is hereby replaced in relation to Member States participating in the adoption of this Directive, without prejudice to the obligations of the Member States relating to the time limit for transposition of the Framework Decision into national law.

De voorgestelde richtlijn over aanvallen op informatiesystemen strekt tot intrekking van Kaderbesluit 2005/222/JBZ van de Raad.
The proposed Directive on attacks against information systems repeals the Council Framework Decision 2005/222/JHA.

Totale overheidsfinanciering: 222 000 000 euro – ELFPO-bijdrage: 66 600 000 euro (30% van het totaalbedrag voor het programma).
Total public funding: € 222,000,000 – EAFRD contribution: € 66,600,000 (30 % of programme total)
