Takes note that, for a growing group of Member States, Prüm has become a routine tool in cross-border police cooperation and crime investigation; regrets the considerable delays in the implementation of the Prüm Decision in several Member States; agrees with the Commission that further development of the instrument should not be considered before full implementation has been achieved; calls on the Member States concerned to implement the Prüm Decision fully and properly so that it can be used to its maximum extent;

2. Het besluit van het Uitvoerend Comité Schengen van 16 december 1998 betreffende de grensoverschrijdende politiële samenwerking op verzoek ter voorkoming en opsporing van strafbare feiten (SCH/Com-ex (98) 51 3e herz.) (9) en het besluit van het Uitvoerend Comité Schengen van 28 april 1999 betreffende de verbetering van de politiële samenwerking bij de voorkoming en opsporing van strafbare feiten (SH/Com-ex (99) 18) (10) worden hierbij ingetrokken.
