Wij, de SYN (Linkse Alliantie) en de Confederale Fractie Europees Unitair Links/Noords Groen Links, zeggen nee tegen dit verdrag: in onze dagelijkse inspanningen werken we aan een andere weg voor de EU. We willen meer deel uitmaken van Europa.
We, the SYN (Coalition of the Left) and the Confederal Group of the European United Left / Nordic Green Left, say no to this Treaty: in our daily struggles we are clearing a different path for the EU. We want to be more part of Europe.

De Fractie van de Europese Volkspartij (Christen-democraten) en Europese Democraten heeft haar steun voor dit amendement ingetrokken, nadat de linkse fracties (de Sociaal-democratische Fractie in het Europees Parlement, de Fractie De Groenen/Vrije Europese Alliantie, de Confederale Fractie Europees Unitair Links/Noords Groen Links) hun steun voor het verslag-Del Castillo Vera (Europese Autoriteit voor de elektronische-communicatiemarkt) aan deze kwestie hadden gekoppeld.
