Teneinde ten slotte een wildgroei van onverenigbare geluidsheffingsregelingen te voorkomen en ter bevordering van de transparantie, een eerlijke behandeling en de voorspelbaarheid van de geluidscomponent in de luchthavengelden, heeft de Commissie een voorstel ingediend voor een richtlijn [27] inzake de totstandbrenging van een communautair kader voor geluidsclassificering van civiele subsonische vliegtuigen met het oog op de berekening van geluidsheffingen.
Finally, in order to avoid a proliferation of incompatible noise charging schemes and to enhance transparency, fairness and predictability of the noise component in airport charges, the Commission tabled a proposal for a directive [27] on the establishment of a Community framework for noise classification of civil subsonic aircraft for the purpose of calculating noise charges.
