Voor werkzame stoffen in pesticiden (en hun relevante metabolieten) wordt de huidige grenswaarde (0.1 mg/l), welke bij de vergunningsprocedure als een uitsluitingscriterium geldt, beschouwd als maximaal toelaatbare concentratie voor een goede chemische gesteldheid van het grondwater.
As regards active substances contained in pesticides (and their relevant metabolites) the present limit value (0.1 mg/l), which is an exclusion criterion for authorisation purposes, is considered as the maximum permissible concentration for defining good groundwater chemical status.

Naar aanleiding van de beoordeling van het WCCV van de stof Toluene-2,5-Diamine, opgenomen in vermelding 9a van bijlage III bij Verordening (EG) nr. 1223/2009, is het wenselijk dat de maximaal toelaatbare concentraties in het cosmetische eindproduct worden gewijzigd.
Following the assessment by the SCCS concerning the substance Toluene-2,5-Diamine, listed in entry 9a of Annex III to Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, it is appropriate to change the maximum authorised concentrations thereof in the finished cosmetic product.

Annexes II and III to Directive 76/768/EEC were amended by Commission Implementing Directive 2012/21/EU after the adoption of the Regulation, by including one hair dye substance into Annex II, 26 hair dye substances into Part 1 of Annex III and by changing the maximum authorised concentrations in the finished cosmetic product for two hair dye substances in Part 1 of Annex III. Those amendments should now be reflected in Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
