SUPPORTS the recommendations in the report from the high level process of reflection on patient mobility and health care developments in the European Union inviting the Commission to consider the development of a permanent mechanism at the level of the European Union to support European cooperation in the field of health care and to consider the impact of the European Union on health systems and NOTES the Commission Decision of 20 April 2004 setting up a High Level Group on Health Services and Medical Care as a welcome immediate step towards taking those recommendations forward.
