In dit verband bevestigt de Raad, als basis voor de verdere onderhandelingen die tijdens de zittingen van het hulporgaan voor wetenschappelijk en technologisch advies en het hulporgaan inzake de uitvoering (STBA/SBI) van 31 mei tot en met 11 juni 1999 en daarna zullen worden gevoerd, de aanvullende voorstellen die sinds COP4 door de Europese Gemeenschap en haar lidstaten zijn ingediend bij het secretariaat van het VN-Klimaatverdrag .
