TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

17. verzoekt de Europese Unie en haar lidstaten steun te verlenen aan de inspanningen om de capaciteiten van de landen in de regio te versterken en alle beschikbare middelen te mobiliseren met het oog op de bescherming van de mensen en de bevordering van de veiligheid en ontwikkeling, dit in samenwerking met de landen in de regio en de internationale organisaties ECOWAS en WAEMU;
17. Calls on the European Union and its Member States to support efforts to increase the capacities of the States in the region and to mobilise all available resources to protect the people and promote security and development in the region in cooperation with the States in the region and the inter-State organisations ECOWAS and WAEMU;

Zij heeft lof voor de eensgezinde doelgerichtheid die de Economische Gemeenschap van West-Afrikaanse Staten (Ecowas), de West-Afrikaanse Economische en Monetaire Unie (Waemu) en de Afrikaanse Unie (AU) aan de dag hebben gelegd.
It recognises the unity of purpose demonstrated by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) and the African Union (AU).

It will re-establish legal certainty for bilateral air services agreements concluded between Member States of the WAEMU and EU Member States and it will also make it possible for EU Member States that have not signed a bilateral agreement with a Member State of the WAEMU not to be adversely affected.

3. De EU prijst en steunt de vastberaden en eendrachtige opstelling van haar Afrikaanse partners, Ecowas, Waemu en de AU, die zich inzetten voor een vreedzame overdracht van de macht aan president Alassane Ouattara en zijn regering.
