TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

In zijn aanbeveling van 1997 over jongerenparticipatie en de toekomst van de burgermaatschappij bevestigde het Comité van Ministers nogmaals "de cruciale rol van de participatie van jongeren in de ontwikkeling van de burgermaatschappij als hulpbron voor de constante vernieuwing van de democratische samenleving".
In the recommendation on youth participation and the future of civil society, adopted in 1997, the Committee of Ministers reaffirmed "the crucial role of the participation of young people in the development of civil society as a resource for the constant renewal of democratic society".

Maatregelen van groepen uit de burgermaatschappij gericht op armoedebestrijding en op vraagstukken op het gebied van bestuur en sociaal beleid zullen onze steun blijven krijgen. De dialoog tussen organisaties uit de burgermaatschappij van onze twee regio's zal worden gestimuleerd.
Civil society efforts to address poverty, governance and social policy issues will continue to deserve our support, and dialogue among civil society groups in our two regions will be encouraged.

Building on the financial support for human rights, civil society development, voter education and the constitutional process being provided, EU Missions could also be asked to launch informal dialogue with broader Iraqi civil society, including NGOs, religious groupings, trade unions, and nascent political parties.
