Beschikking nr. 1348/2008/EG van het Europees Parlement en de Raad tot wijziging van Richtlijn 76/769/EEG van de Raad wat betreft de beperking van het op de markt brengen en van het gebruik van 2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethanol, 2-(2-butoxyethoxy)ethanol, methyleendifenyldiisocyanaat, cyclohexaan en ammoniumnitraat is op 16 december 2008 goedgekeurd.
Decision 1348/2008/EC of the European Parliament and Council amending Council Directive 76/769/EEC as regards restrictions on the marketing and use of 2(2-methoxyethoxy)ethanol, 2-(2-butoxyethoxy)ethanol, methylenediphenyl diisocyanate, cyclohexane and ammonium nitrate was adopted on 16 December 2008.

Bijlage XVII moet dus worden gewijzigd om daarin de beperkingen betreffende bepaalde kwikhoudende meettoestellen krachtens Richtlijn 2007/51/EG en de beperkingen ten aanzien van 2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethanol, 2-(2-butoxyethoxy)ethanol, methyleendifenyldiisocyanaat, cyclohexaan en ammoniumnitraat krachtens Beschikking nr. 1348/2008/EG op te nemen.
Annex XVII should be amended to incorporate the restrictions on certain measuring devices containing mercury adopted under Directive 2007/51/EC and the restrictions on 2(2-methoxyethoxy)ethanol, 2-(2-butoxyethoxy)ethanol, methylene-diphenyl diisocyanate, cyclohexane and ammonium nitrate adopted under Decision 1348/2008/EC.

Contactlijmen op basis van neopreen die cyclohexaan bevatten en niet aan punt 1 voldoen, mogen na 27 december 2010 niet in de handel worden gebracht voor levering aan het grote publiek.
Neoprene-based contact adhesives containing cyclohexane and not conforming to paragraph 1 shall not be placed on the market for supply to the general public after 27 December 2010.

Onverminderd andere communautaire wetgeving betreffende de indeling, verpakking en etikettering van stoffen en mengsels zorgen de leveranciers er vóór het in de handel brengen voor dat op contactlijmen op basis van neopreen die cyclohexaan bevatten in een concentratie van 0,1 gewichtsprocent of meer en na 27 december 2010 in de handel worden gebracht voor levering aan het grote publiek, zichtbaar, leesbaar en onuitwisbaar het volgende wordt vermeld:
Without prejudice to other Community legislation concerning the classification, packaging and labelling of substances and mixtures, suppliers shall ensure before the placing on the market that neoprene-based contact adhesives containing cyclohexane in concentrations equal to or greater than 0,1 % by weight that are placed on the market for supply to the general public after 27 December 2010 are visibly, legibly and indelibly marked as follows:

Deze beschikking bevat geharmoniseerde voorschriften voor het op de markt brengen en het gebruik van preparaten die DEGME, DEGBE, MDI en cyclohexaan bevatten en voor het grote publiek bestemd zijn.
The present Decision would provide harmonised rules for the placing on the market and use of DEGME, DEGBE, MDI and cyclohexane preparations for supply to the general public.
