Tot de uitzonderingsgevallen waarin financieel analisten en andere met de beleggingsonderneming verbonden personen die betrokken zijn bij onderzoek op beleggingsgebied, met voorafgaande schriftelijke toestemming wel persoonlijke transacties mogen verrichten in instrumenten waarop het onderzoek op beleggingsgebied betrekking heeft, mogen ook situaties worden gerekend waarin de financieel analist of een andere persoon zich om persoonlijke, met financiële moeilijkheden verband houdende redenen gedwongen ziet een positie te liquideren.
Exceptional circumstances in which financial analysts and other persons connected with the investment firm who are involved in the production of investment research may, with prior written approval, undertake personal transactions in instruments to which the research relates should include those circumstances where, for personal reasons relating to financial hardship, the financial analyst or other person is required to liquidate a position.
