Rejecting this approach, the Rapporteur would rather prefer to highlight non-financial ‘benefits in kind’, such as the current programme in the UK which encourages egg-sharing in order to help increase the number of donated gametes, and which provide a more ethical compensation to reflect the discomforts and inconvenience of donation.
