11. Het eerste jaar waarvoor er gegevens verzameld worden, is het kalenderjaar dat op de publikatie van deze verordening in het Publicatieblad van de Europese Unie volgt.

Bij de publikatie van de aanvrage om een Gemeenschapsmerk, die niet mag plaatsvinden vóór het verstrijken van een maand na de datum waarop het Bureau de rechercheverslagen toestuurt aan de aanvrager, geeft het Bureau aan de houders van de in het communautair rechercheverslag genoemde oudere Gemeenschapsmerken of de rechthebbenden op oudere aanvragen om Gemeenschapsmerken kennis van de publikatie van de aanvrage om het Gemeenschapsmerk.
6. Upon publication of the Community trade mark application, which may not take place before the expiry of a period of one month as from the date on which the Office transmits the search reports to the applicant, the Office shall inform the proprietors of any earlier Community trade marks or Community trade mark applications cited in the Community search report of the publication of the Community trade mark application.

If such data have been published in readily accessible form, a reference to the publication shall suffice.

2. De Lid-Staten dragen er zorg voor dat de gegevens die in het Publikatieblad van de Europese Gemeenschappen moeten worden gepubliceerd krachtens artikel 11, aan het Bureau voor officiële publikaties van de Europese Gemeenschappen worden medegedeeld in de maand volgende op de publikatie in het in lid 1 bedoelde officiële publikatieblad.

The Member States shall ensure that the information to be published in the Official Journal of the European Communities pursuant to Article 11 is forwarded to the Office for Official Publications of the European Communities within one month of its publication in the official gazette referred to in paragraph 1.

The measuring equipment shall comply with the requirements of Publication No 2 (first edition, 1961) of the International Special Committee on Radio Interference (CISPR) or with the specifications applicable to peak type measuring apparatus given in CISPR Publication No 5 (first edition, 1967).
