Naar aanleiding van de wens van secretaris-generaal Alexander Italianer om met pensioen te gaan, heeft de Europese Commissie Martin Selmayr tot haar nieuwe secretaris-generaal benoemd, en heeft voorzitter Juncker Clara Martinez Alberola tot zijn nieuwe kabinetschef en Richard Szostak tot zijn nieuwe adjunct-kabinetschef benoemd.
