Il s'agit notamment de la formation CoPPRa (Community Policing and Preventing of Radicalisation and terrorism), dans laquelle l'accent est mis sur la détection de signes avant-coureurs de radicalisme à l'aide des principes du fonctionnement policier orienté vers la communauté.

Tijdens het Belgisch voorzitterschap van de Raad van de Europese Unie in 2010 kwam de Belgische politie met de eerste resultaten voor het COPPRA-project (Community Policing and Prevention of Radicalisation).

Het project Coppra (Community Oriented Policing Preventing Radicalisation and Terrorism), onderdeel van de pijler preventie van het EU actieplan ter bestrijding van radicalisering en rekrutering voor terrorisme, is ontstaan tijdens het Belgische voorzitterschap in 2010 en spitst zich toe op (vroegtijdige) detectie, contextualisering en informatiedoorstroming van indicatoren die wijzen op radicalisering en/of voorbereiding van een terroristische daad.

De aandacht voor de radicalisering via het internet wordt ook gevoed vanuit de breed opgezette CoPPRa-opleiding (Community Policing and the Prevention of Radicalisation), die intussen ook aan andere doelgroepen als de politie wordt verstrekt.
L'attention portée à la radicalisation via Internet est également stimulée par la vaste formation CoPPRa (Community Policing and the Prevention of Radicalisation), entre-temps aussi dispensée à d'autres groupes-cibles que la police.
